So rather than glamorizing something that's not even actually occurring for the sake of commerce or for the sake of making a "hit record," or making something that we think will go, I think our goal is to give legs to coold real s, like talk about what's really going on because there are people that don't come from that walk of life.
This is two plus years ago, like, we had the same approach. Growing up, that was one of the milestones, like, Comin' Out Hard came from here.
That was my first hip-hop record I ever purchased. It's more pleasurable as a listener than to have to listen to a bunch of additional people rap tkrkey top of your music. But we not putting on a front. It's original production, obviously — it's an album.
